SYNOPSIS

A beautiful young girl, dressed in Dior like a supermodel, is found in a ditch on the outskirts of Perugia, Italy. She is not dead, as one might have thought at first. Her name is Rosa Lazar and she is sixteen years old. During the investigation, Judge Cristina Camponeschi and psychologist Stefano Mangiaboschi find themselves catapulted into Rosa’s joyful, childlike world, an illusion that hides a terrifying network of child prostitution in the heart of Europe, right at the centre of the European Parliament.

Francesca Archibugi is an Italian director and screenwriter.
After graduating in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, she began her film career and simultaneously studied screenwriting, attending Leo Benvenuti’s course and working with Furio Scarpelli.

His first film “Mignon è partita” (1988), a family story that focuses on adolescents, won five David di Donatello and two Nastri d’argento.
The central themes of his films are often the family and relationships, with a particular interest in the psychic aspect of the characters.
Through his cinema of characters, he has directed actors such as Marcello Mastroianni, Stefania Sandrelli, Massimo Dapporto, Valerio Mastandrea, Micaela Ramazzotti, Kim Rossi Stuart, Sergio Castellitto, Jasmine Trinca, Riccardo Scamarcio, Alessandro Gassman and Valeria Golino.
