SYNOPSIS

Dalya, a Burundian teenager, finds herself exiled in Brussels with her mother and younger sister due to the forced disappearance of her father, a national chess champion. Convinced that he is still alive, she continues to search for him and begins to play chess compulsively to keep him alive in her new life in Belgium. When her mother realises that this addiction is isolating her and jeopardising her education, she tries to bring her back to her senses…
